Centrifugal pumps

Centrifugal pumps KS, KSM

Application

Impeller, centrifugal KS, KSM pumps have been designed to pump some acid, lye, hydrocarbon and other chemically active fluids within corrosion resistance limits for materials used for their construction in a specific material execution. Abrasive bodies content (grain size not bigger than 1 mm) should be limited to 50 g/dm3.

KS, KSM pumps are used in:

  • industry.

Technical specifications

  • Capacity: up to 72 m3/h
  • Delivery head: up to 55 m
  • Pumped liquid temperature [KS]: up to 120oC
  • Pumped liquid temperature [KSM]: up to 70oC
  • Liquid density: up to 1900 kg/m3
  • Liquid viscosity: up to 200 mm2/s
  • Mass: 102,0 ÷ 261,0 kg
  • Gauge pressure: up to 1,0 MPa
  • Motor power: 0,75 ÷ 22,0 kW
  • Rotational speed [50Hz]: 1450 rpm | 2900 rpm
  • Rotational speed [60Hz]: 1800 rpm | 3600 rpm
  • Shaft sealing [KS]: string and face seal
  • Shaft sealing [KSM]: face seal

Supply completeness:

  • 1 - Pump with free shaft end.
  • 2 - Pump with complete coupling.
  • 3 - Pump with complete coupling and foundation plate.
  • 4 - Monoblok - (applies to KSM pumps).
  • 5 - Complete as in item 3 + electric motor.

Features:

  • guarantee of reliable operation over many years and easy access to replacement parts,
  • individually tailored products according to customer needs,
  • constant technical supervision as well as guarantee and post-guarantee service,
  • low procurement and operation costs,
  • relatively long life in hard operational conditions,
  • use of austenitic cast steel and high-nickel alloy cast irons in pump construction.

Construction:

KS pumps construction: KS pumps are single stage, rotodynamic, centrifugal, horizontal pumps. In a complete aggregate, a pump is connected to the motor through flexible coupling and located on a common foundation plate. The position of the pump connector pipe can be changed in 45o steps until horizontal, according to requirements. Pump impeller of a closed type with single side inlet is equipped on its back disk with radial vanes so as to decrease both axial force transferred to bearings and pumped liquid pressure on shaft seals. Pump shaft bears on rolling bearings. Coupling-side bearing is fixed in the axial direction.
KSM pumps construction: KSM pumps are rotodynamic, centrifugal, horizontal, single stage monoblock pumps. When in a complete aggregate, pump and motor create a single block. Pump casing is fitted to the motor flange together with joining member. On the motor shaft a pump shaft is mounted together with mechanical sealing to ensure leak-free operation, as well as closed pump impeller with single-side inlet. Pumps with up to 3 kW motors are equipped with a base used for their installation on the aggregate foundation. For motors of more than 4 kW, the pump aggregate is installed on the foundation through motor foot.
