Construction of anti-odour chimney carbon filter
Construction of carbon filter FW is based on high quality materials that are resistant to the impact of aggressive chemical substances that appear in sewage and also featuring high tolerance for environmental effects such as temperature, UV radiation. Inside of the chimney there is an anti-odour input filled with impregnated active carbon with very high degree of porosity and sorption capacity that allow accumulating and neutralizing substantial volume of toxic and odorous substances with the same effectiveness during the entire time of deposit operation.Construction was designed in a way that allows User for easy self-exchange of deposit without necessity to disassemble the entire chimney and purchase of a new one, meaning reduction of operational costs to absolute minimum.
Principle of operation
Removal of toxic and odorous compounds in sanitary sewage is realized through gravitational airflow from inside of device/well through the filtering deposit of anti-odour chimney.During the gravitational flow of air through the deposit, process of chemisorption of toxic compounds takes place, sush as, a.o. hydrogen sulfide. Properly selected type of active carbon thanks to its attributes not only absorbs but also neutralizes those substances which results in the elimination of their negative impact on the environment. Due to this it is possible to locate infrastructure facilities in close surrounding of residential and public buildings.
Carbon filter works immediately after its installation, is fully failure-free and safe to the surroundings. It ensures reliable operation regardless of changing atmospheric conditions. During operation deposit saturates faster if level of toxic substances in cleaned air is higher so after some time it is necessary to exchange the carbon input. In standard operating conditions at concentration of H2S typical for domestic sewage deposit operational time should reach 2 to 3 years.
