The PSE.1 eko sewage pumping stations are complete, fully automated devices. Materials used to construct the pumping stations guarantee complete tightness of the structure and its long-term lifespan thanks to, e.g., the ensured corrosion resistance.
Domestic sewage pumping stations are used in mixed or gravitational and pressure sewage systems used to drain rainwater and household sewage from single- and multi-family houses and public utility buildings.
The PSE.1 eko sewage pumping station made by Hydro-Vacuum S.A., the leading Polish manufacturer of pumps and pumping systems, by standard contains a PEHD tank of 800 mm diameter and height adapted to investment needs in the range from 2250 to 2800 mm. The hydraulic system of the pumping station is composed of discharge pipelines made of 1.4301 grade stainless steel of DN50 diameter, a non-return, ball valve, as well as a ZSP.1 pump coupling set with guides. The guides are elements that distinguish our pumping stations from domestic pumping stations of other manufacturers. They significantly facilitate use and allow for installing and dismantling the pump from ground level.

Pumps
The FZR, FZY, FZX, FZV type pumps may be used in the PSE eko domestic sewage pumping stations.The FZR, FZY, FZX are pumps equipped with multichannel impellers opened from one side and a cutting device made of hard chromium cast iron ZbCr32. They allow for pumping liquids containing long-fibre elements.
This solution allows for shredding of solid contaminations contained in household sewage systems that may clog the pump and interrupt operation of the pumping station.
The FZV pump has a vortex type open impeller. While the FZX pump is intended for pumping stations with risk of occurrence of explosion atmosphere (it has the ATEX certificate).
Depending on their type and size, the FZ pumps used in the PSE eko pumping stations reach delivery head ranging from 18 to 80 m at capacity of 15 to 35 m3/h. The standard rated power of the most commonly used pumps is 1,5 or 2,2 kW. Height of standard tanks is 2500 mm and a diameter of 800 mm (tanks of 1000 mm diameter and other tank height variants are also available).

The UZS.4 protection and control panel protects the single-phase asynchronous motor of the FZ.1 pump and controls operation of the PSE.1 eko sewage pumping station. The panel is adapted to outdoor installation – the plastic housing is resistant to UV radiation, with IP65 protection class and may be hanged on the support structure or on a wall.The system protects against the results of:
- a short-circuit in the main circuit (circuit breaker)
- a short-circuit in the control circuit (circuit breaker)
- dry run (float level sensor)
The overload protection of the motor of the FZ.1/230 V pumps is ensured by a thermal transmitter included in the enclosure of the plug (a start-up device). The device is adapted for cooperation with one, two or three float level sensors. The unit also features an “A 0 R” operation mode switch that enables controlled/manual pumping of the liquid below certain level.
400V control panel
The UZS.4 protection and control panel protects the three-phase asynchronous motor of the FZ.1 pump and controls operation of the PSE.1 eko sewage pumping station. The panel is adapted to outdoor installation – the plastic housing is resistant to UV radiation, with IP65 protection class and may be hanged on the support structure or on a wall.The system protects against the results of:
- a short-circuit in the main circuit (motor circuit breaker)
- the motor overload (motor circuit breaker)
- a short-circuit in the control circuit (circuit breaker)
- change of the sequence of phases (CKF)
- a voltage drop (CKF)
- a voltage asymmetry (CKF)
- a phase decay (CKF)
- electric shock (differential-current switch)
- dry run (float level sensor)
Construction
Coupling set
The ZSP.1 coupling set enables efficient and quick installation and dismantling of the pump. This set allows for lowering of the pump from the ground level using pipe guides and automatic connection of the pump to the pumping station’s discharge system. The ZSP.1 coupling set is installed on a support beam at the middle of the height of the tank.
