Sources of funding for irrigation and water conservation investments

Increasingly scarce water resources and growing drought phenomena occurring around the world, including Poland, make it necessary to take measures to protect water resources, as well as to carry out effective irrigation. To this end, a wide variety of programs are being created that are available to individuals (farmers, fruit growers, gardeners, allotment holders), as well as business entities to help finance the necessary investments.

The programs are nationwide, such as the RDP program "Modernization of Farms," which provides funding for the construction of water reservoirs, deep wells and irrigation systems, the purchase of new machinery and equipment for water collection including pumps. Provincial and municipal programs support, among other things, the development and efficient use of small natural water reservoirs the optimal use of rainwater by collecting it in closed tanks.
