Project Completion Announcement: Emergency Water Supply Restoration in Ukraine

We at Hydro-Vacuum S.A. are thrilled to announce the successful delivery and installation of 17 high-capacity double-suction DHV pumps equipped with powerful 1.0 and 1.25 MW motors as part of an urgent project in Ukraine. This initiative was critical in averting a potential humanitarian crisis by ensuring the continuous water supply to over 1 million people affected by the destruction of the Nova Kakhovka dam.

Challenging Timelines, Unwavering Commitment: Faced with an urgent need, our team, alongside Ukrainian engineers and workers, embarked on this project with purpose and determination. The timeline was incredibly tight, with the first two pumps delivered within three weeks from the start of the project, driven by the dire situation on the ground. Yet, through relentless effort and collaboration, we made what seemed nearly impossible a reality.

Engineering Excellence and Solidarity: This project was about more than just winning a tender and delivering pumps. It was a testament to human ingenuity and solidarity in times of need. Ukrainian professionals performed what can only be described as a minor miracle, designing and constructing nearly 100 km of pipelines and several pumping stations under highly challenging conditions. Their dedication and skill have been nothing short of inspirational.

A Glimpse Into Our Journey: Attached are photos showcasing the pumps during their production and testing phases, the meticulous process of loading them onto trucks for delivery, and the final installation on-site. These images capture the essence of our journey - from conception to realization.

A Step Towards Recovery: Thanks to this collaborative effort, we have taken a significant step towards mitigating the impact of the destruction of the Nova Kakhovka dam. Our project underscores the importance of international cooperation and the role of engineering solutions in addressing critical humanitarian needs. We are proud to have been part of this vital project, and we remain committed to leveraging our expertise for the betterment of communities worldwide.
