Photovoltaic farm 2 MW – we power our factory with green energy

We are proud to announce that at our factory site in Grudziądz, a modern 2-megawatt (MW) photovoltaic farm has been launched. It is one of the largest solutions of its kind implemented alongside a production facility in the region. The photovoltaic installation covers a significant share of our factory’s electricity demand, contributing to a substantial reduction in CO₂ emissions. Solar energy is clean, renewable, and – most importantly – supports our sustainable development strategy.

Why is this important?
As Hydro-Vacuum S.A., for years we have been providing our clients not only with pumps and pumping systems, but also solutions that support efficient and responsible water resource management. That is why we want the processes in our own factory to be just as responsible as the products we create.

Thanks to the commissioned farm:

• We avoid the emission of thousands of tons of CO₂ annually,
• We reduce dependence on external energy sources,
• We implement concrete actions for climate and environmental protection,
• We increase the plant’s energy independence.

A green future for production
The development of photovoltaics is part of a broader strategy of modernization and automation of our production. We invest not only in renewable energy sources, but also in modern production lines, digitization, and energy-saving technological solutions. The commissioned installation is a real example of how industry can and should support the idea of energy transformation.
