Self-priming pumps are excellent, durable devices for pumping clean water for social and domestic purposes, among others. They have a strong, very durable construction, which makes them also used in industrial installations. The lifting height can reach 215m. Material executions include gray cast iron, ductile iron, bronze, cast steel. The pumps are equipped with string seals or mechanical seals.

Self-priming open impeller centrifugal pumps are used for pumping clean water and other liquids (within the range of corrosion resistance of materials used in the construction of the pump).
The self-priming pump is applicable if the water table in the well (tank) is no lower than 7m from the level of the pump foundation.
