The ZBO hydraulic accumulator membrane tanks are intended for storage of utility water supplied to residential and utility buildings from the on-site water intake. The interior houses a rubber bag membrane. The 2" plug in the head at the pressure gauge features a valve for priming the section between the tank and the membrane with inert gas, i.e. nitrogen, that acts as the gas cushion which holds the required pressure range during operation. The tank is protected against corrosion with an outer paint coating and a powder coat on the internal surfaces. The membrane separates the gas and water systems; hence it is not necessary to add gas during operation.
Advantages of ZBOS and ZBOL tanks:
- maintenance-free tanks ( no need to refill the gas cushion ),
- quick installation,
- longer life of the tank ( water is in the membrane ),
- the possibility of mounting the pump directly on the tank type ZBOL ( lying ).
